Because sometime you don’t fancy watching the same on all your TVs, Sky has developed sky Multiroom.
Now you can watch your Sky upstairs while they watch their Sky downstairs – different programmes, different channels at the same time on different TVs. Sky Multiroom – keeping everyone in your family happy.

Multiroom installed – How do I get Sky Multiroom installed?

Once you have upgraded to Sky Multiroom online our engineers will come to your house when you choose and install it – no need for you to lift a finger!

Sky Multiroom Pricing – How much is Sky Multiroom?

Sky Multiroom costs £10 per month.  When ordering Sky Multiroom online you can choose from a range of Sky Boxes:

Standard Sky Box which is £49, one off cost

Sky+ Box (Sky Plus Box) which is £99, one off cost. Saving you £50 on the normal price only if you order online.

Sky HD Box (High Definition) which is £199, one off cost.  Saving you £50 on the normal price, order online for this saving.

Q. How many Sky Boxes can I have operating from my Sky satellite dish?

A. Your Sky satellite dish can support up to 8 "feeds" and the total number of boxes depends on the box type which you're using.
Each Sky box/Multiroom box requires a single feed/cable from the satellite.
Sky+ and Sky HD boxes each require 2 feeds/cables as they both allow you to watch one channel whilst recording another at the same time.
Here are some examples of the types of combinations:

8 standard set top boxes showing live content
4 Sky+ boxes recording one show and watching another
4 HD boxes recording one show and watching another
2 Sky HD box and 4 set top boxes
2 HD boxes and  2Sky+ boxes

A.No, this won’t be needed.  The engineer who will install your new Sky Box for Multi room will provide the additional remotes needed.

Q. Can I record programmes using my additional Sky Multi room box?

If you choose to have a Sky+ box installed when upgrading to Multiroom then, yes you can watch, record and play back live TV.
