The World Society of Prevention of cruelty to Animals has with your help been putting an end to the suffering of animals for over 25 years. Since 1981 the WSPA has reached out in over 145 countries and have helped to put a stop to the cruel sport of bear dancing in Turkey, changed legislation in Pakistan, help to fund bear sanctuaries in Thailand and ape sanctuaries in The Conga.
However they couldn’t have done any of this without the generosity of the general public, this can be done in numerous ways and have included in the past fund raising, donations and campaigns. If you want to help to put a stop to the sadistic and humiliating treatment that the black bears are forced to go through for the sake of entertaining the public in the streets of India or help to improve the conditions of animals in the “pet respect” programme then getting involved is easy.

Not only can you join in and to raise money to end suffering and make a difference to animals of all kinds you can also have fun in the process, so get together with friends and make a difference. Along with raising money the WSPA also requires help by way of you speaking out, if you want to speak out on behalf of the animals then you can join the WSPA campaign by way of petitions and getting the support of MPs. The many animals that are suffering throughout the world cannot speak for themselves but you can speak on their behalf so visit the WSPA today and see how you can make a difference.
