Spain

Guests
at EuroCamp Holidays Spain are within an hour or two of everything that is
absolutely historic Spain. Situatied in the Costa Dorada there are two
international airports, Reus and Barcelona along with some of the best roadway
infrastructure in the country of Spain. Currently there are four golf courses
with others planned for development in the near future as popularity of this
region spreads along the golfing communities.

Just south of
Barcelona lies the Costa Dorada. Known as the Golden Coast, this is the region
of Spain where miles and miles of flat golden sandy beaches are the most popular
attraction. These are much less rugged than other parts of the Spanish coastline
and stretch for miles and miles. Currently, the Costa Dorada is becoming a
favorite for golfers. There are four beautiful golf courses with more
planned. The weather in this region of Spain is near perfect year round.
Locals living
in the Catalonia region have for hundreds of years fought hard to retain their
unique culture and identity despite political influences to the contrary. In
fact, the language is quite unique and unlike other Spanish languages spoken in
the region. The rich culture has given way to a number of unique Spanish guided
tours with a variety of themes to enjoy based on your own
preference.
Villanova i
la Geltru is the Spanish town where Paramount Places is located. Nearby are two
historical cities. Reus and Tarragona. Salou is a quaint fishing village which
has turned into quite a tourist mecca with numerous eating establishments
offering local cuisine. This is likely the most culture rich region of
Spain.
Tarragona,
renowned for its famous and fascinating Roman ruins is rich in history.
Once a famous
European trading city, Reus is the birth place of the most forward thinking and
advanced architecture in the world. Many of the most popular building's were
either designed and built by Gaudi or are attempts at following his uniquely
different works.
Salou is
likely the largest of tourist cities next to Barcelona because of the abundance
of nightlife and bars found here. As you travel further down the coast you
eventually arrive at Cambrills a quaint fishing village.
More
important and most popular is the local cuisine... the food, history, and unique
culture of the Spanish region prevails even beyond the picturesque beauty of the
land and coastline. No matter where you go you are likely to discover a
vineyard or winery because some of the World's best wines originate in this part
of the world. The Golden Coast.
