There are two important things to consider when looking at balance transfer credit cards

Firstly, consider what will happen to the balance when the introductory deal runs out as a much larger rate of interest will kick in then.

Secondly, do not use the card for purchases unless there is an equivalent introductory offer on purchases as the transfer balance is reduced much quicker than the purchase balance.
