When you want to begin studying for a new qualification you are faced with a number of choices, and one of them is where to study. Should you go to a local college or stay in the comfort of your own home?

We recommend that you choose home learning for some very simple reasons - you stay in control of your study time, your learning environment and you can learn at your own pace, making sure that you fit study time in with family needs. If you enrol at a local college you will have to fit in with their timetables, term times and you'll have to work at their pace, not your own.

Studying at home is less stressful. Your Home Learning College tutors will always be on hand to help out should you need them, but you won't have anyone looking over your shoulder whilst you're working. And, it is a recognised fact that you will learn more easily if you are happy and relaxed whilst you're studying.
we all have preferred times of day to study. Some people tend to learn more easily in the morning, others are night-owls who prefer to stay up later to work whilst the house is quiet. When you choose home study you can do whichever suits you best.
