our computers, well at PC World they have a great selection suites, but which
one is the best for you, below is PC Worlds top ten with reviews.
Best Antivirus & Security
Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2011
Norton AntiVirus has been a
strong performer in recent years, and this year is no
exception.
It does a
very good job at detecting and removing malware, and it has a smooth
interface.
Installing Norton AntiVirus 2011 is
a breeze: The well-designed installer requires you to click through only two
screens before it begins installing. Norton's products also check to see if you
have any incompatible security utilities installed beforehand, so you don't end
up with a problem later.

BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011
In our tests, it did a good
job at detecting malware, and was the top performer at removing infections from
a PC, which pushed it up the leaderboard, but it had some trouble blocking live
malware attacks, preventing it from climbing any higher.

G-Data AntiVirus 2011
G-Data
continues its recent trend of strong malware detection, blocking, and removal in
2011, and couples it with a good interface.
G-Data
AntiVirus is generally easy to use. Its installation process took a few more
steps than I would have liked, but it was reasonably straightforward.

Kaspersky Lab Anti-Virus 2011
It did a great job at stopping
brand new malware attacks, and a reasonable--though not top-notch--job at
detecting known malware, and it sports a well-designed interface. On the
downside, its impact on PC performance was worse than average.

Trend Micro Titanium Antivirus Plus
2011
It's simple--some may
say too simple--and easy to use, and it did a reasonably good job at blocking
malware. Installing Titanium Antivirus is a
pretty straightforward affair: It requires you to click through only a couple
screens before installation begins. But you'll need an Internet connection when
you install Titanium Antivirus--the installer has to download the software
before it starts installing, which adds time to the
process.
