As most of you will know the new Nintendo DSi console will be released on 3rd April 2009. We wrote about the launch here.

Many users of the original Nintendo DS and DS Lite preferred the convenience of having their games all loaded in one small adapter the same size as a traditional games cartridge, leaving the original games cartidges safely stored on a shelf.

The traditional R4 adapter is NOT compatible with the updated console and therefore,  you will need to purchase a compatible adapter as an add on if you don’t wish to carry all of your game cartridges around with you. Memorybits have got in ahead of the competition to order advance stock of the R4i adapter for the Nintendo DSi. It is now available for pre-order :

If you remember the scarcity of the Nintendo Wii and the Wii Fit with prices rocketing as entrepeneurs (crooks!!), tried to take advantage of the situation, then you will appreciate that this is yet another major launch with stock of add-ons  likely to fly off the shelves.

Don’t leave it too late and have to wait. If you order now, then you should be assured of getting your hands on the R4i Adapter in the next few days.

When Satellite Navigation systems first became available as a consumer product, they retailed at £500 and whilst functional, they did not have the same feature sets available that can be found today in many mid-range or even budget satellite navigation systems.

Today I still find myself relying upon my trusty TomTom Go which was originally bought around 2003 at a cost in excess of £400. Even at that price I still consider that it was a great investment and it continues to pay for itself.

The great thing about negative scanners are their ability to take old 35mm slide and film negatives and turn them into digital images with little effort and knowledge.  By using a similar technology to traditional desktop scanners and adapting it to work with negatives it is fairly easy to take all your old treasured images which may be stuck in an old format or use old negative film where the original photo’s may have become damaged over time and transform them into high quality images that you can then reprint for you to enjoy once more.
